I purchased my 16 Spark in Feb. I had OnStar on my other cars but app was not compatible. I like the idea of this app but it is slow to update and their is no Apple Watch companion app. My car has a WiFi Hotspot but I have only seen the WiFi usage once on the app. The app is not something I use everyday but would if it updated quicker and had more info on what the car is doing.

I love being app to start my car when its cold out or very hot and the new feature getting discounts just for having this app it great!

Wouldnt work. Was locked out of my car. Wouldnt rely on the app.

Im not sure if its the app or if its the connection but every time I try to use it it works once then it wont work again I call the OnStar people they told me oh well uninstall the app and reinstall it and re-sign in that it will work well it does that time then likely it wont work again this is pretty much worthless

Im still have an onstar plan and my tire pressure readings disappeared from the app. Has happened to others with brand new vehicles. Could be tied to the 9.3 upgrade.

OnStar app is supposed to be all the rave with a Chevy vehicle... I have a cobalt. A new one too and it says my car is not supported yet... Really? Dont release a product until its FULLY worked out and ready. Just a heads up. Smh. Can I make it a negative stars?!

Dont let OnStar fool you into thinking you need to pay for a subscription. You can use this app to start your car remotely for free.

I think the app has improved quite a bit than from prior versions. It seems to be faster than the old versions, and I don’t get anywhere near the number of failed messages when I use the remote functions on the app that I did before. The map function for the most part works pretty well, it’s very handy for sending directions to the car’s navigation system. The only complaint I have is that the map functionality seems to be tied to the version of the map in the car’s navigation system, if there are newer addresses the app won’t be able to find them. I hope an Apple Watch app is in the works for this app.

great start but needs some features and updated iPhone 6 plus support Apple Watch 2 OS support

Love the app, love the convenience and how Im able to see where my vehicle is at all times. There is a minor glitch at times where the lock unlock buttons dont work or take foreeeever (please fix you guys), other than that, I highly recommend for convenience

I have had this app for years. Now I have changed to the iPhone and it will not let me get my vehicle info. Whats going on?

This app does function for the most part. I primarily use it to check the charging status and perform remote starts on my Chevy Volt. Having used the app for three years I have seen the app crash and not work for weeks at a time and in one case over a month. When it works, its fine. But it feels like GM doesnt put any priority on the app. Its like they contracted out to have an app made so they could check a box that says "we have an app that can remote start your car" and then they walked away. Apps are cheap. I just dont understand why they dont put a little more effort in to keeping it running smoothly. I also recently bought an Apple Watch. I would really like but I have absolutely zero expectation that I will ever see an Apple Watch app for my remote start (You can remote start a Tesla from a smart watch). Come on GM, youre doing some great things with your cars and thats the hard part, a little bit more effort on the app would be quite simple.

Does what it says it does. A little delayed when unlocking the doors, starting or getting Vehicle Status. Really wish it had Apple Watch compatibility!

The app only locks or unlocks certain time no guarantee, wont ever load the Vehicle status, never trust the functioning of the app

Love the app, works great with my 2014 Cadillac! Just wish the app was compatible with my Apple Watch! That way I dont have to use my phone to start my caddy, I can do it from my wrist!

Twice in one week I have had to delete and reinstall the app because it will not communicate with the vehicle. This problem developed after the recent update to iOS 9.3. This used to be a reliable app, but now it is trash.

The app on my iPhone 6s Plus works great. Just wish there was some support for the Apple Watch.

Instead of text messaging me when my car is charged, why not send a push notification from the app? Please add this and the app will be great.

Loved the app until it decided I dont have a valid internet connection and will no longer work. Keeps telling me to hook up to wifi and giving me an error code. No one to call for help save your time and use your remote.
